What is veterinary rehabilitation?
Much like human physical therapy, veterinary rehabilitation and conditioning combine exercise with other techniques and technologies like massage and electronic stimulation to get your dog back in fighting – well, barking and licking and tail-wagging – shape. After injury or surgery or when dealing with chronic pain, animals often need a little extra care. Pain medicine can only do so much. That’s where rehab and conditioning come in. At the heart of our practice is the use of therapeutic exercises that not only ease pain and improve muscle and limb function but could even extend your dog’s life.
Our Mission
We are dedicated to improving the quality of life for our patients and their families. When it comes to veterinary rehabilitation and conditioning, that means pairing proven science with boundless patience and compassion to restore your pet to health. Cascade Park Animal Hospital is an American Animal Hospital Association-accredited clinic, which means that we have met or exceeded the rigorous standards set by the organization and are inspected annually to ensure we maintain those standards so your pet gets the best quality care possible.
Personalized Care From Start To Finish
Dr. Kathryn West, Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist, and the rest of the team at Cascade Park Animal Hospital, work together to assess the needs of every family and patient to provide the best treatment plan and outcome for each situation. We take the time to educate our clients about what is required to care for their pet at home, post-rehab. We are honored when people entrust their pets to us and strive to deliver the best results possible.

“The rehab center has some incredible water tanks for dog therapeutic treatments. My boy had knee surgery and has been going twice a week. The tanks are in great condition and the physical therapist and doctor are both outstanding. Packages for the water therapy classes are reasonable! ”
