HEAR WHAT OUR CLIENTS HAVE TO SAY
My dog Arthas had his first visit with Dr Haddock yesterday (my first visit here; I needed a new vet since Dr Phelps no longer works at east VCA), and it was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and Arthas and I felt welcome. Dr Haddock was very knowledgeable, and really took the time to get to know Arthas and do a very thorough exam. I never felt rushed at all during his visit, even though our appointment was at the end of the day. The cost of the exam and his vaccinations was very reasonable, and there was no pressure for anything additional on his first visit. He was seen quickly, and the clinic was very clean and welcoming. I'm looking forward to Arthas' future visits here.
Dr. Reading is the absolute best. From getting on your pet's level (literally and figuratively) to thoroughly explaining her thought and treatment process to personally following up on sensitive situations, she is full of love and kindness and completely transparent. She has been caring for my dogs and cats for the past 3 years and I trust her and her staff completely.
We moved to the area about a year ago with our 12 year old dog and chose Cascade Park Animal Park randomly, just because it was close to home. I am so glad we did. When our sweet boy stopped eating and started losing weight, the staff and vets were so kind and loving towards him. They truly cared as much as we did. When the time came to make the really hard decisions, they were the best. They called to check in every few days, and were supportive with the decisions we made. Eventually, the day came, and the staff was wonderful. The process was obviously heartbreaking, but they were there with Kleenex, hugs, and most importantly, so much compassion for our furry family member. The sweetest sympathy card, as well as a clay pawprint, came from them a few days later. It'll be a little while before another dog joins our family, but when one does, we will come back to Cascade Park Animal Hospital without a doubt.
Cascade Park Animal Hospital is par excellence!! The veterinarians are wonderful, as well as the technicians and staff. They truly express concern for their patients and owners. Our two cats and two dogs have received exemplary care. What is very impressive is that our veterinarian there will seek out the best specialists, if warranted, for a particular condition, such as cancer, serious eye problems and such for any of our animals. I highly recommend anyone, who wants quality care for their pet to go to Cascade Park Animal Hospital. You won't be disappointed.
I've had LOTS of pets over many states and many years, which means experience with many, many vets. I've never loved a Veterinarian's office quite so much as Cascade Park Animal Hospital! It's bright, airy and clean...but beyond that? The staff! Every single person I met was happy to be where they were. They clearly all love animals and care about what they are doing. Just great people in a wonderful environment. In addition, I wasn't sold a bunch of products I didn't need. Have it at home? Use it! Can get it at the drug store cheaper? Awesome! Not trying to gouge, genuinely trying to guide. Absolutely adore this place
I just want to start off and say thank you for the ladies who helped my pup and I out today. He was born deaf, is 5 years old and never in his life have we had such amazing care with him!!! He typically gets super high stress and nervous as soon as we walk into a vets clinic at all... They understood how attached he is to me and let him be comfortable in my arms for most of the visit. Super caring and thorough and I am almost teary eyed writing this because he is doing amazing now! We even got shots and anal glands expressed and they did amazing with all of it this deaf boy thanks you for your patience with him!
I would give this clinic 10 stars if I could. I started with Cascade Park about 30 years ago when Maureen Fritch had the practice. Loved Maureen, but the surgery and staff are even more outstanding now. I have an almost 13-year-old Lab with many problems, the latest of which was a tumor on her toe. It was interfering with her ability to get around. We were going to do surgery, even though it would be a risk. Then Dr. Reading thought she could remove the tumor with a local anesthetic instead of a full surgical effort with the dog being put under. It worked. It saved a lot of money. I am pleased beyond what I can express here. My dog had the less invasive procedure and is doing great. Love the staff, too, and the chance to see Ballast, a puppy belonging to one of the women in reception. It's all good.
