Dr. Mayfield was born and raised on a farm in Mississippi. She has a deep passion for travel and outdoor activities. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University. Upon graduation, she joined the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps in 2017. After serving, she practiced as an independent contractor and an associate veterinarian performing general practice and emergency care. Although her original desire was to practice on large or farm animals, she found her passion in urgent care and surgery for our small animal companions. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the beautiful PNW, West Coast, and Cascadia.
