KATIE WILLOUGHBY
DVM
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Katie Willoughby is originally from Washington. She completed a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience at Washington State University (Go Cougs!) and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University.
Companion animals have always been a huge part of her life and she couldn't imagine life without some furry family members by her side. Dr. Willoughby's favorite part of being a veterinarian is helping other people enjoy the benefits of companion animals by teaching pet parents all about pet ownership, preventative vet care, and animal wellbeing.
Dr. Willoughby holds a special interest in animal behavior and works hard as a Fear Free certified professional to provide animals with low stress veterinary care. She also has a special interest in geriatric, hospice, and end-of-life care as it is an incredibly important time in both pet and owner's lives.
Dr. Willoughby has two Dobermans (Atlas and Ziva) and a miniature dachshund (Reuben). When not at work you might see her out exploring the PNW, just about anywhere she can pack a dog or three along with her. She enjoys hiking, fishing and exploring new restaurants and pubs.
