JULIANNE HORNER
DVM
Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Horner is originally from San Jose, California and in 2008 graduated from the University of California Davis, with a B.S. in Biological Sciences. Since childhood, she had a deep connection to animals. It wasn’t until after college, while working as a veterinary assistant with pets who were undergoing cancer treatment, that Dr. Horner absolutely knew her career path was to become a veterinarian. In 2015, she graduated from Oregon State University’s Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine. She continued her post-graduate training by completing a small animal rotating internship at New England Animal Medical Center in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts.

Throughout veterinary school and her first internship, she developed a strong interest in internal medicine and decided to complete an additional year of specialty training in this field. Dr. Horner moved back to the West Coast in January 2019 and currently resides in Portland. She enjoys developing lasting relationships with her clients and their pets and is excited to serve the Vancouver community! When she’s not immersed in being a veterinarian, Dr. Horner enjoys gardening, taking Zumba and yoga classes, cooking, attempting DIY projects and spending time with her boyfriend and adorable 13-year-old Maine Coon cat, Missy.
