Dog Rehabilitation

The day Amelia Airport MADE me jump up and knock her and the shelf off the wall I got hurt, too. Did she tell you she was swatting and waving at me with her paw from her perch? The entire accident was because of her taunting me to play with her — I mean, I’m a puppy who loves to play!!!
After the calamity, my right shoulder throbbed every time I took a step, so I limped when I was walking. I could still run and jump, but when I walked it was easy to see there was something wrong. The doctor found I had tendonitis in my shoulder, and I needed rehab to get me back to full play form, so I got to spend time in the Cascade Park Rehab Center. After a month of water treadmill, laser therapy, massage, and extra treats, my shoulder was pain free!
Clearly, I’m going to fake a limp so I can receive this five star treatment every year.

Why Rehabilitation is important for your pet:

  • Decrease duration of acute pain
  • Improve quality of life if your pet has chronic pain
  • Increase joint range of motion
  • Decrease recovery time post neuro or orthopedic surgery
  • Increase amount of exercise for an older or overweight pet

“Kristin is the reason I make the hour drive to come to Cascade Park! She is the BEST. WE’ve been coming for PT for 5+ years. I can’t imagine going to anyone else!”
